Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that it follows the guidelines below:

Language

Manuscripts must be written in English. For authors who are not fluent in English, it is highly recommended that the manuscript be carefully reviewed by an English-speaking colleague or a professional editing service before submission to ensure clarity and correctness.

Title

The manuscript must include a full title at the top of the article. The title should accurately reflect the content of the paper, and be specific, descriptive, concise, and understandable to readers from outside the subject area. Avoid using abbreviations and do not write the title in all capital letters.

Authors and Affiliations

Each manuscript must clearly list the full names of all authors, along with their complete institutional affiliations (department, university/organization, city, state/province, and country).
Please ensure the correct structure of author names. The given name (first name) should be written in italic, and the surname (family name) should be written in standard font.

Example:

• Jiaying Di, Wen Hu, Mengxia Li, and Hongtao Li
• Ervin Varga, Bojan Blagojevic, and Dejan Mijic

Important: The structure of author names affects indexing. Incorrect formatting may result in improper citation and indexing.

The list of authors must remain unchanged after the final decision by the Editors.

Abstract

The abstract should briefly summarize the main objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the study. It must be informative and self-contained, providing sufficient information for readers to understand the key findings.

Introduction

The introduction must provide sufficient background and context for the research. It should clearly state the problem, its significance, and the objectives of the study, and be accessible to readers outside the immediate field of research.

Figures and Tables

• All figures and tables must be numbered, captioned, and cited in the text.
• If a figure or table is reproduced from another source, authors must credit the original source and obtain the necessary permission from the author and publisher.
• There is no limit to the number of figures and tables, but they must be necessary, non-redundant, and well designed.

References

• Authors must use a reference management tool (such as Mendeley) when preparing the reference list.
• All references must be accurate, relevant, and timely, and must include the full article title and DOI if available.
• Use numeric citation style in brackets (e.g., [1], [2, 5], [6–8]) and ensure references are listed in the order they appear in the text.
• The maximum number of references is 15 per article, with no more than 3 from conference proceedings. Manuscripts exceeding this quota may be excluded.
• Comments or notes are not allowed in the reference list; place them as footnotes if needed.

Example of correct format:

Lohrasebi, T., Koslowski, M., Modeling water purification by an aquaporin-inspired graphene-based nano-channel. J. Mol. Model. 25, 280 (2019). https://doi.org/10.1007/s00894-019-4160-y

There is no page limit, but each article must demonstrate good quality and scientific merit, and be longer than a short report (minimum 3-4 pages).
