Welcome to The 1st International Conference on BioTEStA 2025 in Malang East Java, Indonesia.
Natural resources provide humans with life and are expected to be continuously utilized for future generations. The 21st century is full of challenges because the human population continues to grow, and in Indonesia, with its cultural perspective, has a unique matter that is contradictory between the increase in human population and the continuous occurrence of environmental damage so that there is great concern about the availability of natural process or biological processes. The reality of natural resources’ capacity to provide sufficient food production for its human population, sometimes or often at present is insufficient. The decline in biodiversity due to human activities violates the biological argument that natural sustainability is high biodiversity. In other words, natural and artificial resources are continuously sought in high-quality conditions. The development of technology that continues to seek solutions to problems closely related to the life of all organisms is the availability of energy that can simultaneously implement a sustainable environment. Exploration of energy resources and their distribution at local and international levels is in the transition phase. At the local level, the resources in our habitat such as wind, sunlight and water can be utilized, which are greatly influenced by territory and are close to nature. Often problems of human life require cell engineering at all levels of the results of a technology. Nature is continuously studied in a fundamental way, such as biology, and the results obtained inspire the development of cell engineering and technology or the application of biological science.
Meetings between experts at the local level are very necessary and the media for this, among others, are carried out in this activity, an international conference. This meeting media can meet the effectiveness of “thinking globally and acting locally”, it contributes new knowledge, especially for participants. The objective this activity is aimed to provides a platform and captures the growth of biology-based science, cell engineering and technology. Universitas Islam Malang, which wishes to have international participation and new scientific needs, has the assumption that the organizer of Education is in the support zone for scientific progress and takes the theme “The 1st International Conference on Biological Technology and for Sustainable Nature (BioTEStA 2025)”.
The 1st IC-BioTEStA 2025 covers the following areas:
Basic science of Biology (Biological Science), computation in the field of Biology, habitat (biogeochemistry) and Environment (Ecology and Environmental Science), Conservations Biology, applied Biology in agriculture, including plants/agrotechnology, animal husbandry (veterinary), and fishery, focusing on techniques in organic waste treatment and installation, as well as health (medicine). The paper also includes opinions (communications) on tentative solutions to challenges in biology, specifically biology-based technology and Biology-Based Engineering.
